This online workshop is designed to help PhD students strengthen their scientific writing skills and gain greater confidence in producing clear, precise and well-structured academic texts.
During this practice-oriented 1.5-day workshop, participants will work on a piece of their own academic writing and receive guidance on how to improve its structure, clarity and style.
In a second step, we will explore the possibilities and limitations of using AI in scientific writing. With practical guidance from the instructor, participants will further refine their texts using AI-based tools and critically reflect on their use in academic contexts. Drawing on these experiences, the group will collaboratively develop a set of current best practices for writing with AI.
After the workshop, participants will receive individual feedback on their writing from the instructor via email.
